Design Expert, Sales - Interior Define (Interior Design)

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; onsite at the Charlotte Studio. Full-time role with standard retail hours and weekend availability.

Compensation: $85,000–$100,000+ per year, with a 60/40 base salary and commission split based on performance.

What you will do

• Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas through exceptional customer service and product expertise.
• Consult with clients in-store and virtually on furniture selections and design choices.
• Own the customer journey from initial inquiry through purchase execution and post-purchase follow-up.
• Create room designs, mood boards, and floor plans while ensuring furniture size and fit.
• Identify opportunities to improve studio sales and the customer experience.
• Build local customer relationships and represent the brand in the Charlotte community.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in furniture or interior design.
• Experience in interior design or home furnishings, including creating mood boards and floor plans.
• Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets through consultative selling.
• Strong customer focus, organization, adaptability, and collaborative working skills.
• Proficiency with Canva, interior design floor-planning software, and Google Suite; CRM experience is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, including standard retail hours and weekends. Ability to stand, bend, maneuver in the studio, and lift up to 50 lbs.
