Area Service Manager - South Florida

Location: Miami, Florida, USA; full-time, with travel to multiple locations within the geographic area.

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus a target annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage operations across multiple apartment property sites and provide leadership to on-site service teams.
• Monitor turn times, expenses, CSAT, site inspections, vendor performance, and operational improvements.
• Plan and administer maintenance budgets, cost-saving initiatives, preventive maintenance schedules, and long-term property service programs.
• Identify maintenance and capital needs, coordinate capital projects, and source, negotiate with, and manage third-party vendors.
• Develop service team talent through training, mentorship, and internal career pipelines.
• Coordinate responses to fires, natural disasters, and other property emergencies with internal teams, vendors, regulators, and local officials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or business, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in property maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management procedures, program management, budgeting, and program implementation.
• Knowledge of construction systems, building mechanical, HVAC and automation systems, and energy conservation.
• Strong logistical planning, time management, prioritization, leadership, and team-influence skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within the assigned geographic area.
