TL;DR
Materials Change Management Lead (Supply Chain/Manufacturing): Leading material-change coordination across the supply chain with an accent on material forecasting, inventory optimization, waste reduction, and new-item integration. Focus on integrating planning, procurement, manufacturing, and external manufacturing changes, establishing lead times for vertical start-ups, and reducing production-plan risks.

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite work 3 days per week and remote work 2 days

Salary: $75,800–$141,700 (Zone C), $83,400–$155,900 (Zone B), or $90,900–$170,100 (Zone A) annually, plus eligibility for incentive plans

What you will do

  • Analyze, integrate, and execute material impacts from supply chain initiatives across the business unit.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Project Management, Materials teams, manufacturing sites, and the External Manufacturing network.
  • Update material forecasts, project documentation, standard operating procedures, and Materials Management and Planning processes.
  • Support material run-outs, new-material start-ups, vertical start-ups, and new-item integration at manufacturing locations.
  • Reduce material waste, optimize inventory levels and supplier lead times, and provide early warnings for production-plan impacts.
  • Report material updates to supply chain leadership and integrate proposed changes into IBP processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of supply chain experience across multiple disciplines, such as Services, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, or Logistics.
  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, or another technical field.
  • Experience in inventory management, material management, and material transitions.
  • Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing operations, stage-gate processes, and project management practices.
  • Broad industry experience; Consumer Packaged Goods experience is preferred.
  • MBA and professional project management certification are highly desirable.
