Supervisor-Materials Management (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States, five days per week

Salary: $56,300–$80,255 annual base salary

What you will do

• Direct receiving, warehousing, material movement, inventory management, and shipping operations.
• Develop warehouse operating systems, including product handling, storage, equipment utilization, receiving, and shipping processes.
• Prepare budgets, forecast operational requirements, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
• Plan warehouse layouts, product flow, handling systems, staffing, space requirements, and equipment improvements.
• Implement, enforce, and evaluate warehouse policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Inspect warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs, replacements, and maintenance work orders.

Requirements

• Five or more years of related experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with the integrated functions of manufacturing.
• Experience in rate-based or flow-line manufacturing and job-shop manufacturing environments.
• Experience in operations, inventory management, visual management systems, inventory control and shipping software, MRP, lean manufacturing, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site in La Crosse, Wisconsin, five days per week.
