What you will do

• Translate multi-level engineering BOMs and NPI program requirements into actionable procurement signals.
• Explode engineering BOMs in SAP, create material reservations and Planning BOMs, and generate planned orders and purchase requisitions.
• Manage BOM changes, pull-ins, push-outs, capacity constraints, and material slots across first-article, prototype, pilot, and pre-production phases.
• Analyze SAP shortage reports, identify critical-path components, maintain risk registers, and drive escalations with buyers and suppliers.
• Provide material availability, recovery plans, commit dates, budget status, and schedule-risk updates to business units, program managers, and senior leadership.
• Track NPI material spend, support ECO/ECR impact assessments, and improve demand-planning workflows, reporting cadences, and BOM readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with NPI or pilot manufacturing materials planning.
• Expert knowledge of multi-level BOM structures, SAP MRP, and material reservations.
• Practical understanding of procurement, engineering change management, PLM, finance, and manufacturing.
• Ability to solve complex critical-path and shortage problems and work independently across concurrent NPI programs.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Santa Clara, California; relocation is not eligible.
