Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II

What you will do

• Manage cross-functional manufacturing engineering projects from planning and validation through production launch, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Research, develop, and improve manufacturing equipment, processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure design for manufacturability and support new product integration.
• Identify, plan, and implement capital equipment projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization initiatives.
• Design tooling and fixtures for error-proofing, waste reduction, and safer operations.
• Support manufacturing transformation through Industry 4.0 and advanced automation solutions, including project delivery standards and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of total professional experience.
• Computer proficiency and confidence using data analysis programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated experience integrating new products into production or delivering significant operational improvement projects.
• Ability to collaborate across Design Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and other organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Project management and leadership experience.
• Six Sigma, Red X, or another problem-solving certification.
• CAD/CAM experience.
