Mental Health Didactic Visiting Professor (Nursing)

Location: Miramar, Florida, USA; hybrid schedule with face-to-face instruction and online course activities. Availability is required on Mondays and Wednesdays for an eight-week period.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education, experience, course type, licensure, certifications, location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Teach mental health didactic courses to undergraduate and graduate students on a course-by-course basis.
• Develop and deliver an approved syllabus aligned with terminal course objectives.
• Organize, prepare, and regularly update course materials and online assignments.
• Use websites, email, online discussions, and course-related software to support learning.
• Set assessment expectations, prepare and grade exams consistently, and provide timely feedback.
• Model clear and engaging oral and written communication while complying with institutional policies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Previous teaching experience in the course subject required.
• Exceptional subject-matter expertise in the field of instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, and prudent judgment.
