Junior Procurement Officer (Aviation)

What you will do

• Support Category Managers throughout sourcing execution, including requirements definition, RFI/RFP activities, awards, contracts, and auctions where appropriate.
• Execute tactical and low-value procurement through P-Cards, managed catalogues, guided buying, and master service agreements.
• Administer end-to-end procurement operations, contract documentation, templates, governance, and reporting in Ariba.
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Track contract consumption and reporting, and capture supplier performance information.
• Liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve payment-related issues.

Requirements

• UAE national status is required.
• Diploma-level qualification.
• Awareness and understanding of aviation and/or indirect procurement categories.
• Procurement operations and sourcing experience; a minimum of three years is preferred.
• Experience with procure-to-pay processes and tools such as SAP and Ariba is preferred.
• Analytical, proactive, systems-oriented, and willing to develop procurement expertise.
