Senior UX/UI Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid; on-site 3 days per week in Bethesda, MD; Seattle, WA; or Palo Alto, CA

Annual salary: $109,675–$172,200

What you will do

• Collaborate with product management, engineering, business, and operations teams to identify customer and business needs.
• Translate complex, AI-driven, and data-informed concepts into clear product experiences.
• Build functional prototypes, experimental interfaces, user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and UI specifications.
• Apply discovery, research, human-centered design, workshops, and user testing to validate concepts.
• Design and demonstrate responsible AI interaction patterns through clickable or conversational prototypes.
• Deliver design assets for acceptance, development, and market launch in partnership with engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX design experience, or 3+ years with a master's degree.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience designing cross-channel experiences, including responsive web and native mobile interfaces.
• Ability to work across user research, UX design, UI design, prototyping, and specifications.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities and their application to product design.
• Proficiency with Figma and AI-assisted design tools, plus experience with design systems and agile development teams.
