Lead UX Designer (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 USD per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end UX design for internal and external-facing Platform Tool product areas, from problem definition and strategy through implementation and iteration.
• Design dashboards, data-heavy interfaces, and complex workflows involving multiple states, exceptions, roles, permissions, and dependencies.
• Define information architecture, navigation, interaction models, user flows, and detailed interfaces for operational products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and end users to identify problems, understand workflows, and determine what should be built.
• Prototype and iterate solutions, collaborating with Engineering through implementation to ensure usability, consistency, and quality.
• Apply and evolve hirify.global’s Platform Design System and AI-Native Design System, using tools such as Claude and Figma Make.

Requirements

• 7+ years of UX or Product Design experience.
• Experience designing complex B2B, enterprise, SaaS, or operational products.
• Proven ability to independently own ambiguous product problems end to end as a senior individual contributor.
• Strong UX and visual judgment across complex, data-heavy workflows, along with systems thinking, interaction design, and information architecture skills.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints while collaborating across Product, Engineering, and business functions.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, Figma Make, or similar tools in the design process.

Nice to have

• Experience with logistics, supply chain, warehouse, fulfillment, or related operational domains.
• Experience designing tools for physical operational environments.
• Experience contributing to design systems or reusable UX patterns.
• Experience creating functional prototypes with front-end code or AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience designing AI-powered product experiences or workflows.
