MEP Coordinator / Estimator

Location: San Francisco, CA; onsite, full-time

Annual salary: $130,000–$165,700

Construction company hiring for coordination and estimating of mechanical and electrical building systems.

What you will do

• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems across installation sequences, milestones, testing, and close-out.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for contract compliance, trade scope coordination, and spatial conflicts.
• Support mechanical and electrical estimates, preliminary schedules, subcontractor budget reviews, and proposal evaluations.
• Participate in subcontractor meetings and coordinate design issues with subcontractors and consultants.
• Monitor onsite work, inspect equipment and materials, and identify coordination requirements with other trades.
• Assist with change-order reviews, payment requests, temporary systems, subcontractor evaluations, and inspector relationships.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of estimating experience preferred.
• Degree in construction or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Technical background in electrical and mechanical trades.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, contracts, and craft labor assignments.
• Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify, address, and solve jobsite problems and support project pursuits.
