Estimator (HVAC)

Location: Maitland, Florida, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday and flexible work location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $66,816.66–$93,309.99; incentive eligible, not sales commission eligible.

What you will do

• Review plans and specifications and develop accurate cost estimates for HVAC materials, equipment, labor, subcontractors, and construction-related activities.
• Select, price, and integrate HVAC equipment, controls, and services for each project.
• Determine project needs, constraints, responsibilities, and customer HVAC system design and installation requirements.
• Develop and discuss solutions with Account Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, technicians, and customers.
• Prepare and review proposals, equipment submittals, and equipment selections.
• Support proposal pricing, selling strategy, and project fulfillment schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business management preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• Three to five years of experience in estimating, project management, engineering, HVAC, or construction management.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent recent traffic violations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature controls.
• Relevant practical industry experience in place of a four-year degree.
