HSE Engineer (Oil & Gas EPC)

What you will do

• Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs for a major oil and gas EPC project.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC regulations, standards, and HSE legislative requirements.
• Lead HSE Engineers, senior HSE officers, and HSE officers.
• Develop HSE plans and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct audits and apply safe systems of work, including permit-to-work, work method statements, and risk assessments.
• Analyze incidents using root cause analysis and implement controls for H2S hazards.

Requirements

• ADNOC approval for the HSE Engineer role.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or an HSE discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent certification subject to ADNOC Group approval.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years in a Lead HSE role.
• Experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries, construction, fabrication, installation, or commissioning projects and operations; good written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in GCC countries on oil and gas projects with an EPC contractor or heavy industrial construction company.
