Data Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Evaluate source data, define data requirements and specifications, and anticipate changes in data capacity.
• Collect metrics and trend data, perform sensitivity analysis, and conduct statistical hypothesis testing.
• Read, modify, and execute simple scripts on Windows and UNIX systems and work with multiple programming languages and file formats.
• Develop data standards, policies, and procedures.
• Apply cybersecurity and privacy principles related to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
• Assess encoding techniques, model predictive power, and generalizability, and document mathematical, data science, and computer science methods.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph are required.
• Six years of demonstrated data analyst experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Three years of demonstrated cybersecurity experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• In-office work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
• Splunk experience is required.
