Data Analyst

TL;DR

Data Analyst (Python/Data Science): Conceive, develop, mature, maintain, and transition novel FMI applications and capabilities from large and complex data with an accent on data science, modeling, discovery, curation, software engineering, and spatiotemporal technologies. Focus on event detection, validation of I&W methodologies, and translating findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Location: 308 Sentinel Drive, Annapolis Junction, MD (onsite, requires Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and U.S. person status per ITAR)

Salary: $130,000 - $190,000

What you will do

• Conceive, develop, and transition novel FMI applications and tradecraft from large-scale data environments.
• Lead data discovery, collection, curation, and enrichment for high-quality inputs to complex modeling.
• Apply data science and modeling techniques to enhance event detection and I&W framework validation.
• Use spatiotemporal technologies to analyze geographic and time-based data patterns.
• Communicate technical findings via status reports and presentations to mission partners and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analysis or Data Science
• Experience developing and scripting in Python
• Strong verbal communication skills for presenting complex findings
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• U.S. person per ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual)

• Experience with Splunk for data indexing and analysis
