Commercial Mortgage Analyst (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America; in-office three days per week

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze the financial condition and performance of existing commercial mortgage loans at the property and guarantor levels.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance and compliance reporting packages.
• Review operating statements, rent rolls, personal and corporate financial statements, and loan documents for covenant and reporting compliance.
• Track property occupancy and revenue by unit or other relevant metrics and compare results with borrower and appraiser pro formas.
• Review appraisals, environmental documentation, and engineering reports; conduct site visits and property inspections as needed.
• Support new loan production, client engagement, loan servicing, and the implementation of revised processes and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, commercial mortgage lending, or a related field.
• Familiarity with multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and hospitality properties.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and advanced financial and data manipulation functions in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze complex financial and commercial loan documents and work in the office three days per week during standard Monday–Friday business hours.
