What you will do

• Support commercial data initiatives through comprehensive testing, source-to-target validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial schedules, reconciliations, regulatory reports, SEC reports, shareholder and Board reports, and internal management reports.
• Perform variance analysis, interpret complex financial data, investigate discrepancies, and drive timely resolution.
• Support system implementations, conversions, technology initiatives, special projects, and process improvements.
• Review junior staff work, allocate team assignments, and train and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain internal controls and escalate risk, audit, and regulatory issues in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience, or an associate’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, operations, or financial institutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance, accounting, regulatory reporting, business operations, bank products, and the banking industry.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• High-level proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, testing, quality assurance, and User Acceptance Testing is preferred.
• Experience with commercial banking data, reporting processes, performance metrics, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, AFS, Vision, or similar tools is preferred.
