Quantity Surveyor (E&I)

Location: Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. On-site project role with frequent travel to the site.

International EPC contractor delivering complex Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects across energy, marine, infrastructure, and defense and security sectors.

What you will do

• Organize Installation Work Packages and Workface Planning within the Advanced Work Package methodology.
• Analyze and control electrical and instrumentation material quantities, costs, and tracking.
• Evaluate contractor variations, interim payments, cost implications, and E&I variation claims.
• Finalize materials for construction work packages and tie-ins, expediting vendor inputs and resolving field concerns.
• Conduct field inspections to verify technical and quantity compliance and coordinate with Field Engineering.
• Support punch-point closure and pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in project cost analysis, material and cost control, and construction profitability within EPC or EPCM projects.
• Strong experience reviewing and updating E&I material tracking for cost analysis.
• Knowledge of international and ADNOC standards, plus awareness of Oil & Gas safety and quality norms.
• Ability to work with clients and multicultural, multinational, multidisciplinary project teams.
• Professional spoken and written English; proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, and ERM.
