Manager, Technical - BESS & Hybrid Solutions

What you will do

• Lead technical and techno-economic analyses for utility-scale BESS technologies, alternative chemistries, and associated services.
• Manage design activities and technical project management for BESS hybrid solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prepare and align project specifications, budgets, and schedules with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Define basic designs and create or review test procedures for hybrid plant components, including foundations, batteries, and converters.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership within integrated project teams.
• Coordinate technical priorities and resources across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• Master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in BESS technologies.
• At least 3 years leading the technical stream of large-scale BESS hybrid projects or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems, and grid energy management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks under pressure, and learn and apply new technologies.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with hybrid simulation tools and exposure to at least one hybrid power plant simulation tool.
• Experience preparing EPC technical annexes.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
