Lead Engineer-Civil/ Structural - Onshore-AD (Civil/Structural Engineering): Leading civil and structural engineering deliverables for onshore oil and gas projects across FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases with an accent on technical ownership, multidisciplinary coordination, and UAE regulations. Focus on approving structural calculations and designs, coordinating geotechnical and constructability inputs, and managing discipline scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

What you will do
- Lead civil and structural engineering activities across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, PMC, construction support, and brownfield modification phases.
- Prepare discipline execution plans, design bases, philosophies, deliverable registers, checking matrices, and work-hour estimates.
- Define analysis approaches and review or approve calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and other technical deliverables.
- Coordinate metocean, geotechnical, weight-control, survey, inspection, fabrication, installation, constructability, operations, and multidisciplinary inputs.
- Lead interdisciplinary, model, constructability, and safety reviews with clients, contractors, operations, fabrication, installation, and third-party stakeholders.
- Manage discipline progress, schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, workshare execution, subcontracted engineering, quality requirements, and change control.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of oil and gas structural engineering experience, including 5 years in a lead role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of onshore oil and gas civil and structural design, including raft and pile foundations, drainage systems, steel and reinforced-concrete structures, pipe racks, and equipment supports.
- Proficiency with STAAD Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, Mat3d, and ETABS.
- Strong technical leadership, engineering assurance, risk identification, quality control, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of UAE regulations, international engineering codes, and oil and gas industry practices is required.
