TL;DR
Commissioning Engineer - Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) (Electrical Engineering/ATS): Commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic transfer switches and low-voltage equipment across critical power installation projects with an accent on installation readiness, electrical diagnostics, and customer support. Focus on performing independent on-site interventions, identifying root causes across quality, software, and operating conditions, and supporting retrofit and modernisation activities.

Location: Ed, Sweden; work assignments in Sweden and Finland. On-site work with a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation. Assignment duration is 1 to 2 years.

What you will do

  • Perform start-up and commissioning across the ATS and low-voltage product range.
  • Assess installation quality, assembly, readiness, and operating conditions before start-up.
  • Adjust, install, modify, repair, and maintain ATS and low-voltage equipment.
  • Diagnose failures through root cause analysis covering quality, software, and operating conditions.
  • Collaborate with service engineers, technical partners, and Level 3 support teams during site interventions.
  • Provide customer training and technical support on site and remotely.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of commissioning or field service repair experience, ideally with secure power systems.
  • Practical experience with automatic transfer switches, low-voltage switchboards, UPS systems, and power system installations.
  • Knowledge of component-level electronic circuit diagnosis and repair, ATS principles, and low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently, interpret technical documentation and electrical diagrams, analyse problems, and prepare technical reports.
  • Fluent English at a minimum B2 level is mandatory.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data centre installation and commissioning.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
