Staff Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Secaucus, New Jersey, United States; onsite full-time role

Salary: $93,000–$136,400 annually, plus potential annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the Industrial Engineering team in converting manufacturing data into insights and business decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve industrial models, analytical tools, data structures, and management systems for short- and long-term planning.
• Use SQL and Python to analyze multivariate manufacturing data and deliver end-to-end analytical projects.
• Simulate manufacturing workflows and capacity constraints to identify resource bottlenecks and improvement plans.
• Lead enterprise-level Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives targeting cycle time, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Develop cost-analysis systems for new products, technologies, and manufacturing methods, while guiding junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
• Fluency with Python or another mathematical computing language such as R or Java.
• Experience with business intelligence and analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
• Hands-on experience building and analyzing simulations and models for complex manufacturing workflows and capacity constraints.
• Strong data visualization, presentation, problem-solving, communication, continuous improvement, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or exposure to business, finance, or economics.
• Experience leading complex projects and influencing decisions across multiple organizational levels.
