Industrial Engineer IV (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; travel required 20% of the time

What you will do

• Lead strategic transformation projects for Applied Global Services, improving productivity, operational excellence, growth, and cost performance.
• Own the complete project lifecycle, from current-state analysis and opportunity quantification through solution development, stakeholder alignment, and implementation.
• Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, analyze large datasets, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare executive-level recommendations and support strategy and execution discussions.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate execution.
• Optimize processes and manage initiatives within scope, schedule, and expected business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent; an MBA or Master’s in Engineering is preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry, management consulting, or internal consulting.
• Expert-level knowledge of data analytics tools including SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience working across cross-functional business teams and in matrix environments, with the ability to influence without authority.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and executive presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma, including DMAIC and Kaizen.

Nice to have

• Python and Applied Smart Factory APF experience.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with service business management, product development, and financial reporting.
