Industrial Engineer IV (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required 20% of the time.

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead strategic transformation projects for Applied Global Services with executive-level visibility.
• Analyze current-state processes, identify and quantify opportunities, and develop improvement solutions.
• Structure complex business problems, test hypotheses, analyze large datasets, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Present recommendations and deliverables to executive stakeholders and contribute to strategy and execution discussions.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate implementation.
• Optimize operations and business processes to improve performance, reduce cycle time, lower costs, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry or consulting.
• Expert-level knowledge of data analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience working across cross-functional business teams in a matrix environment and influencing without authority.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and executive presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma, including DMAIC and Kaizen.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent business experience.
• Python and Applied Smart Factory APF experience.
• Management consulting or internal consulting experience.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with service business management, product development, and financial reporting.
