CNC Machinist 2

Location: Exton, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, 1st shift

NETZSCH develops, produces, and distributes positive displacement pumps and specializes in complex fluid management.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills, lathes, mill-turn machines, CNC saws, and manual equipment.
• Program Mazak CNC mill-turns using Mazatrol.
• Read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications and produce parts to required tolerances.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments and resolve machining issues.
• Carry out routine equipment maintenance, monitor materials and tool inventory, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Collaborate on production-process and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathes with live tooling.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Expertise in precision measuring instruments and quality-control techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to new technologies.

Nice to have

• Technical school certification in CNC machining.
• Experience with 4- and 5-axis mill-turn machines.
• Familiarity with Mazak machines and Mazatrol programs.
• Experience working with metric dimensions and tolerances.
