Civil Engineer – Water Resources (0-5 years)

Location: Honolulu, HI, USA — full-time office position

Expected annual salary: $67,000–$90,000

Multidisciplinary engineering firm providing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, corrosion control, commissioning, and project/construction management services for commercial, institutional, government, industrial, and other projects.

What you will do

• Assist with planning and design of municipal civil infrastructure projects.
• Develop water and wastewater system designs.
• Support a wide range of water-resources and municipal engineering projects.
• Work on multiple tasks under the supervision of senior staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering professionals to solve project challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 0–5 years of experience in civil municipal design with a water-resources or municipal background.
• Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, or the ability to pass it within six months of hire.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD, plus Microsoft Office software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
