Water Resources Engineering Intern

What you will do

• Support project engineers with design engineering and modeling for water resource projects.
• Perform hydraulics, hydrology, and stormwater collection system modeling.
• Collect, assimilate, analyze, and present project data.
• Contribute to flood control, river design, levee, dike, wetland, lake, watershed, and stream restoration projects.
• Develop civil designs and construction documents for water resources and stormwater projects.
• Prepare design calculations, technical reports, water resources studies, and limited field work as required.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.
• Preference is given to local candidates.

Nice to have

• Three years completed toward an engineering degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Previous internship in water resources engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
