Shipping & Receiving Manager (SAP)

Location: Onsite at the plant in Homewood, Illinois, USA

Salary: $77,000–$90,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the shipping and receiving department and provide written and oral instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Manage the cycle count program to improve warehouse accuracy.
• Coordinate clear and timely communication with internal plant support representatives.
• Use SAP, S/4HANA, and shipping and receiving systems to process orders accurately.
• Compile records of unfilled orders and participate in facility TPM activities while tracking KPI targets and value-stream improvement objectives.

Requirements

• Detailed knowledge of shipping processes and documentation for global air, sea, and ground transportation.
• Associate degree and at least 10 years of experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
• At least 5 years of experience building, developing, and leading teams.
• Supervisory ability and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Forklift license and experience with SAP/S4 HANA.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience reading and interpreting procedures, writing reports and manuals, and presenting information to management groups.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools.
