Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Location: Onsite in Painesville, Ohio, USA. Work schedule: C Shift, Monday–Friday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Starting hiring rate: $25.85 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

What you will do

• Move raw materials, work in process, finished goods, and other materials between warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, and receiving areas.
• Load and unload trucks and tankers, verifying materials against shipping and receiving documents.
• Record material movements in the inventory management system and support warehouse and rack inventories.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Process outbound shipments, verify pallet quantities, and coordinate loading with dispatch cut-off times.
• Support dock operations, housekeeping, recycling, waste reduction, and communication with finishing and coating teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• General computer proficiency and ability to work with Oracle, Telnet, OTM, Google Docs, and Lotus Notes.
• Valid forklift license required.
• Good written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, time management, and independent-work skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, work safely, contribute to a team environment, and address operational issues proactively.
• Ability to work the overnight C Shift schedule onsite in Painesville.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a similar production environment.
• Strong Oracle experience and understanding.
• Experience leading continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Project management and time management skills.
