Drywall Superintendent

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; travel required as needed for project oversight

Salary: $85,000–$125,000 annual salary

Construction projects involving drywall, millwork, specialty scopes, and coordination with Owners, Architects, field crews, and subcontractors.

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate field teams, self-perform drywall crews, millwork teams, and subcontractors.
• Manage project schedules for drywall and specialty scopes, including planning, expediting, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Enforce jobsite safety procedures and participate in the company’s safety training program.
• Maintain quality standards, review drawings and specifications, and resolve discrepancies in drywall and millwork installations.
• Coordinate pre-job conferences and subcontractor meetings while maintaining professional communication with Owners and Architects.
• Manage punch lists, testing, turnover, closeout documentation, and Owner acceptance for assigned scopes.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including four years as an Assistant Superintendent.
• Extensive field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction trades and experience as a foreman or journeyman in at least one trade, or as a Project Engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sense of urgency, flexibility, and ability to travel and oversee multiple projects across a large geographic area.
