School Nurse (RN) - Camden

Location: Camden, NJ, USA; onsite, full-time

Salary: $61,000–$100,000+ per year, depending on previous Registered Nurse experience.

What you will do

• Provide health services to students and maintain complete, confidential, up-to-date health records.
• Administer medication in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and standing orders.
• Conduct state-mandated screenings, monitor immunizations, and manage communicable diseases.
• Respond to acute illness, injury, emotional disturbances, and other health-related crises.
• Develop, evaluate, and update student care plans based on assessments and identified outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, social workers, counselors, child study teams, operations staff, and families to support student health and safety.

Requirements

• Current New Jersey registered professional nurse license (RN) issued by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• School Nurse Certification, or the ability to complete it within two years of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Current provider CPR and AED certification.
• Ability to collaborate, solve problems proactively, manage multiple projects, and remain calm in high-stress situations.
