School Nurse

Location: Newark, New Jersey, USA; full-time onsite role

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 per year. Most qualified candidates will receive an offer of $60,000–$74,000.

What you will do

• Provide basic healthcare to students experiencing injuries or acute illnesses.
• Deliver health services to students, faculty, and staff.
• Track student vaccination records and follow up with families as needed.
• Maintain and update students’ medical histories and health files.
• Promote a safe school environment and help prevent communicable diseases.
• Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse qualification is accepted if willing to pursue an RN degree and school certification.
• BSN preferred.
• Willingness to work full-time onsite in Newark, New Jersey.
