Production Inspector (5:00am-1:30pm) System Protection

Location: United States-based manufacturing role; regular on-site production work is implied by the physical inspection duties and manufacturing facility environment.

Pay: $22.50–$23.75 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect component parts, switches, part orders, and completed products before shipment or transfer to the next operation.
• Perform final inspections and document results using production and quality forms.
• Prepare inspection findings, Non-Conformance Reports, and Customer Improvement Initiatives for repetitive issues.
• Report ISO standard violations and notify supervisors when non-conforming processes require shutdown.
• Help create and implement process control charts for critical manufacturing processes with engineering and production teams.
• Train production personnel and team members in effective process control and inspection methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to work in a medium-heavy physical demand environment, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and Fluke multimeters.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams is desirable.
• Experience with an ERP system is desirable.
