Quality Technician (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite full-time

Salary: $28–$38 USD per hour

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, components, and subassemblies against purchase orders, drawings, and quality specifications.
• Perform outgoing quality checks on finished products, including documentation, labeling, and packing verification.
• Receive, log, stage, and track inbound shipments in ERP and inventory management systems.
• Coordinate outbound freight, packaging, carrier management, and shipment scheduling.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials and initiate NCR documentation.
• Maintain inventory records, support cycle counts, and communicate discrepancies to procurement, engineering, and operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Working knowledge of calipers, gauges, and torque verification equipment.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of freight processes, bills of lading, and carrier coordination.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, electrical, or industrial product manufacturing.
• Forklift certification.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials or international shipping requirements.
• Experience with NCR processes and quality management systems.
• Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
