Nursing Simulation Specialist (Nursing Education)

Location: Addison, IL, USA. Full-time, onsite position.

Salary: $76,000–$86,000 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate, facilitate, and supervise simulation-based experiences and clinical laboratory activities.
• Develop and implement clinically focused simulation scenarios using high-fidelity patient simulators.
• Manage skills-lab operations, including equipment maintenance, supplies, setup, cleanup, and open-lab supervision.
• Provide individualized and small-group tutoring, coaching, academic reinforcement, and remediation for nursing students.
• Support NCLEX-RN and Next Generation NCLEX preparation through workshops, activities, and learning resources.
• Collaborate with faculty and academic leaders, document student progress, and contribute to retention and student success initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and BLS/CPR Instructor certification.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Education.
• Experience with simulation, classroom instruction, academic success initiatives, tutoring, or student learning in higher education.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification.
