Senior RTL Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Daily onsite presence at the San Jose, California office in the United States

Base pay range: $138,000–$206,000 USD annually, with additional incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop IP for memory-centric computing systems using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and HLS.
• Optimize designs for performance, power, and area through pipelining, parallelism, and data compression.
• Design test plans in collaboration with verification engineers and troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Make architecture and design decisions across performance, power, thermal, and cost trade-offs.
• Contribute to emerging memory, computing, interconnect, and AI/ML technologies.
• Communicate with users, partners, stakeholders, and management to deliver systems on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, Master’s degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 0+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of front-end design methodology experience developing RTL for complex control and data path IPs.
• Strong background in microarchitecture and computer architecture.
• Experience designing memory controller, NoC, and interconnect IP, as well as memory-centric computing IP and SoC integration.
• Experience with AI/ML workloads and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite daily at the San Jose, California office.
