Hardware Software Integration Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design and build software tooling, firmware, and infrastructure supporting semiconductor design, verification, manufacturing, and post-silicon validation.
• Partner with hardware engineers and EDA teams to accelerate silicon development cycles and improve yield, performance, and quality.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions with cross-functional partners across product, design, engineering, operations, and business.
• Build and maintain large-scale grid, cloud, and HPC compute infrastructure.
• Develop scripting, automation, and data pipelines for design and characterization data.
• Contribute through code reviews, design reviews, documentation, debugging, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in semiconductor environments.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with EDA, verification, or post-silicon validation workflows.
• Understanding of low-level hardware-software interaction, large-scale compute infrastructure, scripting, automation, and data pipelines.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SystemVerilog or other hardware description languages.
• Familiarity with UVM-based verification workflows.
• Experience with cloud-based EDA workflows.
• Experience applying ML to silicon design.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
