Project Controls Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Draft project-specific project controls procedures and prepare internal and external project reports.
• Manage deliverable lists and engineering deliverables status registers across project procedures, engineering, procurement and construction.
• Prepare procurement packages, maintain procurement and subcontractor registers, and support subcontract administration, negotiations, payments and final accounts.
• Track project materials, quantities, records, daily activities, resources, productivity and site events.
• Monitor contract scope and variations, maintain claims and variations registers, and prepare related submissions.
• Support monthly payment requests, budgets, estimates, variance monitoring and project cost-center allocation.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience at a similar level, including at least 5 years of relevant construction-industry experience.
• Experience with EPC projects involving ADNOC or an equivalent organization is essential.
• Knowledge of cost estimation, cost control, planning, risk management and contractual matters.
• Awareness of engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Fluent English, knowledge of project management tools and basic financial concepts.
