What you will do

• Execute all phases of complex architectural projects, including programming, planning, concept development, detailed design, documentation, and construction administration.
• Prepare code analyses, life safety and egress plans, drawings, schedules, specifications, studies, presentations, and reports.
• Research and apply International Building Code and other regulatory requirements, including OSHA and ADA standards.
• Coordinate constructible designs with engineering, construction, estimating, clients, and external project participants.
• Support project planning, budgets, scopes, schedules, quality reviews, and resolution of complex design and construction challenges.
• Act as Architect of Record, provide architectural training, and mentor architectural staff.

Requirements

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture, such as B.Arch, M.Arch, or D.Arch, or an equivalent Canadian or international degree.
• Architectural license in good standing within the home state, with ability to obtain reciprocal licensure through NCARB.
• 15 years of professional experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction firm.
• Extensive knowledge of International Building Codes, OSHA Regulations, and ADA Standards.
• Experience coordinating and delivering cross-discipline projects and complete construction documents for complex projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.

• LEED accreditation, WELL Certification, or similar sustainability credentials.
• Expertise in R&D laboratories, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food and nutrition, consumer products, or international projects.
• Client-focused leadership, presentation, mentoring, and entrepreneurial skills.
