Enterprise Architect

Location: Based in any U.S. office — Century City, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Orange County, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C.

Annual compensation: $175,000–$220,000, depending on qualifications and operational considerations.

What you will do

• Define and govern enterprise architecture reference models, principles, standards, and review processes through the Architecture Review Board.
• Modernize the Microsoft estate, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Windows Server, file services, on-premises Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
• Design and govern Azure and AWS landing zones, identity federation, private connectivity, account structures, and cloud cost standards.
• Establish hybrid networking, segmentation, VPN, micro-segmentation, and next-generation firewall reference architectures.
• Build data governance and information-protection architecture supporting classification, DLP, encryption, ethical walls, and client-matter confidentiality.
• Guide responsible AI adoption and governance across Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, vendor AI capabilities, and workflow automation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure experience, including experience as an enterprise, solutions, or infrastructure architect within an architecture governance framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in legacy Microsoft environments and hybrid integration, with strong Azure and AWS architecture experience.
• Experience designing enterprise networking, firewall, data governance, information protection, Zero Trust, identity governance, and Conditional Access architectures.
• Understanding of enterprise AI architecture and governance, with hands-on exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Power Platform.
• Experience in a law firm, professional services, or similarly regulated and confidentiality-sensitive environment; familiarity with ethical walls and Outside Counsel Guidelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with iManage, knowledge search, document intelligence, AVD, Intune, and Jamf.
• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or comparable network and security credentials.
