Sales Specialist (Ingram Library Services)

What you will do

• Sell library products, services, and related materials across an assigned multi-state territory through web meetings, phone, email, and occasional onsite visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with libraries, prospects, and customer stakeholders.
• Present Library Services products at state and local conferences, web meetings, and site visits.
• Support territory RFPs, formal bids, annual budgets, and strategic sales plans.
• Educate libraries about collection development, cataloging and processing, and Opening Day Collection services.
• Assess library workflows, recommend efficiency improvements, negotiate pricing terms, and document customer interactions in Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of sales, book industry, or related experience.
• Ability to manage customer relationships and sales activity across a multi-state territory.
• Ability to attend state and local conferences and occasional onsite customer visits.
• Ability to present products, respond to customer requests, and use web conferencing and Salesforce CRM.
