Talent Recruiter (Education)

Location: Hybrid — three days per week in a regional SSP office in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, or Austin, and two days from a home office. Travel within Texas or nationally may take up to 20%; reliable transportation is required for travel between campuses.

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for an assigned portfolio of schools or KIPP Texas support departments.
• Implement multi-channel sourcing and recruitment campaigns through digital marketing, social media, university outreach, job fairs, and networking events.
• Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines, including passive candidates, talent communities, alumni networks, and referral programs.
• Screen candidates, coordinate selection processes, and partner with hiring managers and HR business partners on staffing needs and candidate profiles.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking system, candidate, interview, and recruitment-event records.
• Monitor funnel, pipeline, hiring, compensation, and retention data and report progress against recruitment goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an associate degree with three years of equivalent experience in talent recruitment or a similar field.
• At least two years of experience in talent recruitment or talent management; experience in public K–12 education is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Strong collaboration, organization, time management, interpersonal, and conflict-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, manage interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress, and deliver results on time and within budget.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between campuses and other locations are required.

Nice to have

• Experience managing ATS software such as Salesforce, SmartRecruiters, or Lever.
• Experience recruiting in a public K–12 education environment or comparable education setting.
