What you will do

• Design and analyze water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Prepare and review design plans, engineering calculations, and technical documentation.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system evaluations for design and planning decisions.
• Apply engineering standards and design codes to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate design work with internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Provide technical input, cost estimating, and quality control support throughout project development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments in Austin, Texas.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, humidity, noise, hazards, inclement weather, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
• Ability to occasionally operate a company vehicle and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.

Nice to have

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
