Senior Pursuits Specialist (AEC)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; full-time on-site role

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end proposal planning, development, production, and delivery for large, complex pursuits.
• Direct pursuit meetings, establish schedules, assign responsibilities, and manage critical decision points.
• Write and edit executive summaries, cover letters, service narratives, resumes, case studies, and pitch materials.
• Prepare and deliver client interviews and presentations by leading rehearsals, coordinating logistics, and coaching presenters.
• Influence capture plans and go/no-go decisions through market, client, and competitor insights.
• Lead post-mortems, enforce quality and compliance standards, and mentor junior pursuit staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of progressively responsible marketing or pursuits experience, ideally in AEC.
• Experience directing complex, high-value proposals and presentations with minimal oversight.
• Advanced writing and content development skills, including storytelling, branding, and executive-level messaging.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign, with experience using CRM and marketing technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff, manage deadlines, enforce quality standards, and make strategic decisions.
