Customer Experience Specialist (CO₂ Refrigeration)

What you will do

• Lead installation, configuration, start-up, commissioning, diagnosis, and repair of supermarket refrigeration systems, specializing in CO₂ systems and advanced controls.
• Provide technical direction during complex start-ups and commissioning, evaluate system performance, and recommend solutions that improve service delivery and customer outcomes.
• Work with Engineering as a subject matter expert and train technicians on CO₂ technology, refrigeration processes, diagnostics, controls, and best practices.
• Assess customer needs, identify service and sales opportunities, and support estimates, warranty resolution, and repair strategies.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and electronic communications accurately and on time.
• Support large-scale CO₂ implementations, including new retail store launches and adoption initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate certification in HVAC/R required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification or equivalent.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in supermarket refrigeration systems, including 5 years working with CO₂ systems.
• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC operations, system controls, EMS programming, and complex schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, mechanical aptitude, diagnostic, and tool-use skills.
• Ability to lead projects, train technicians, exercise independent judgment, interact with customers and internal teams, and perform physical work including climbing ladders, working at elevations, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
