Lead - Payroll

What you will do

• Manage complete payroll cycles for the assigned employee population, including off-cycle payrolls and adjustments.
• Review payroll outputs and maintain accurate calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Colombian payroll laws and statutory regulations, prepare audit documentation, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Resolve complex Tier 2/3 payroll discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurring issues.
• Validate system integrations and payroll data flows, identify system issues, and coordinate fixes.
• Standardize payroll processes, support automation initiatives, and train L1/L2 team members.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in payroll administration, payroll shared services, or payroll operations.
• Strong expertise in payroll calculations, reconciliation, reporting, and adjustments.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise payroll systems such as ADP, SAP Payroll, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and audit readiness.
• Experience handling payroll escalations, employee payroll disputes, and high-volume support requests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Accounting, or a related field, plus experience guiding payroll analysts or supporting payroll team operations.
