Location: Onsite at the Wrigley Building, 410 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, USA; regular office attendance required. Site inspections may require multi-day travel within the country.
Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, with benefits and a potential bonus based on relevant experience.

What you will do
- Conduct structural investigations, analyses, and document reviews.
- Review structural designs for code compliance.
- Research and evaluate root causes of structural failures.
- Perform onsite inspections, collect field data, and travel for multi-day assignments across the country.
- Prepare technical reports, repair details, and related documentation.
- Complete additional duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience designing and/or investigating structures.
- Minimum EIT licensure.
- Working toward SE licensure.
- Regular onsite attendance in the Chicago office is required.
Nice to have
- Experience investigating structural failures.
- Experience preparing reports for attorney clients.
