Maintenance Technician (Weekend Overnight)

Location: Waddell, Arizona, United States. On-site weekend overnight rotation: Week 1, Friday–Sunday, 5:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m.; Week 2, Thursday–Sunday, 5:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m.

Compensation: $33.00 per hour base pay, plus a $3.00 shift differential and a 5% target quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate and execute predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, robotic, conveyance, and other material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, prioritize responses, and maintain high equipment availability across the production site.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment to install and maintain facility equipment safely.
• Manage critical spare parts inventory and work orders using CMMS, while documenting completed work and equipment conditions accurately.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits, maintain clean work areas, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, mentor technicians, oversee contractors, and escalate high-severity issues when required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with material handling equipment, automation, conveyance, or robotics.
• 2+ years of experience performing predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Multi-skilled experience across electrical and mechanical disciplines, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLC-based control systems, packaging operations, high-speed automation, and CMMS.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements such as OSHA and NFPA 70.
• Ability to communicate in English and work on-site in Waddell, Arizona, with overnight weekend shifts, overtime, and schedule flexibility.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Experience with safety oversight and safe operation of motor vehicles.
• Experience detecting malfunctions and solving equipment issues.
