Memory Care Coordinator

Location: 975 N 5th Ave, St. Charles, Illinois, USA; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Promote the Embrace philosophy for residents, families, and staff.
• Implement and oversee the six Embrace pillars: wellness, enrichment, creativity, connection, challenge, and teamwork.
• Oversee daily Memory Care operations in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team.
• Lead at least 5–7 innovative Memory Care programs each day and encourage resident participation.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident activities.
• Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff while monitoring program quality and satisfaction.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in Alzheimer’s or dementia care, senior recreation programming, and management.
• Associate’s degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience with innovative, person-centered programming.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Activity Director certification, Certified Dementia Practitioner certification, or Therapeutic Recreation Assistant certification.
• English fluency required for speaking, reading, writing, and communicating with residents, staff, supervisors, and third parties.
