Med Tech - Certified Medication Aide 11pm-7am (Senior Living)

What you will do

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN or LPN supervision.
• Maintain accurate medication records and other medical documentation.
• Provide resident care according to individual care plans and physician’s orders.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, cognition, and emotional status.
• Protect residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering care.

Requirements

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to administer medications in accordance with state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in personal care, home health, hospital, or long-term care.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow HIPAA policies, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work the 11 p.m.–7 a.m. schedule, including weekends and holidays, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
