Senior Superintendent - High-Rise Multifamily

What you will do

• Supervise construction projects and lead field construction teams, including subcontractor direct-hire work.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate planning and expediting, and manage materials and tools.
• Set quality-control standards, review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals, and complete punch lists.
• Coordinate subcontractor meetings, reports, work orders, timesheets, and invoice approvals while maintaining owner and architect confidence.
• Lead start-up testing, owner turnover, final close-out, and acceptance; travel and supervise multiple projects as required.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience as a superintendent with extensive supervisory field construction experience.
• Current STS Certification, or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification status.
• Working knowledge of all construction crafts and specifications, plus prior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, cost control, OSHA laws, and problem-solving.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to travel or supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
